Looks to be a fake. The ring doesn't even seem real; too plasticky. Plus, the recessed home button doesn't even look ergonomical. Another remodeling is out of the question for Sony.

I think it is just a modification of the PSP 2000, it looks JUST like a PSP slim, i mean, if sony takes a new PSP out they wont release a homemade modification, this is fake

Yeah, the home button looks like it was modded in there, as if someone took out the old one, spraypainted it and stuck it in there a lil bit too deep
