The home button isn't actually recessed, the picture just made it look so. So if there is a PSP-3000 model, this isn't the one. But there IS going to be another(?) make-over for the PSP (I guess). I'm tired of upgrading, just gimme Gran Turismo Mobile, please. :]

it's really interesting!!!!!!! wondering how it would look like. but will it be as good as a already hacked slim psps? if it does come out i would hate buying another psp lol i hope the psp 3000 would look like the mock up design of the psp "iwish" xd
um! in my opinion i think that PSP is just another RE-design just like the slim, remember couple days ago John Koller anounced the the new PSP could be built-in HDD. and this one doesnt look liked it has 1. For this one I will name it PSP Slim 21XX (XX country code). its a nice design thought. (this is my opinion)
Hmmm.....I'd buy one, cause I got money to spend but, as far as we know, its a rumor, yet sony might finally beat CFW from the scene. Lets just hope pandora will work on this.

my advice:
buy the slim now because i bet anything they will change the battery it uses which means NO MORE PANDORA
the slim was too far in progress for them to change the battery when pandora came out.
Take this with the smallest grain of salt but according to forum members over at PSPChina, they claim Sony is already in production of their newest edition of the PlayStation Portable. This rumored PSP 3000 is to come updated with a new built-in mic, some changes to its appearance, and perhaps even with cell-phone support.
The claim of the new PSP 3000 was supported with some images of what the said model looks like. As you can see below the "Home" button has been redesigned to instead have the PS logo, similar to the PS button on the PS3's controllers. Right next to the volume buttons you can see what appears to be the said mic. Also new and redesigned is the metallic ring found on the UMD door. Lastly they also provided an image of what the inside casing looks like.
Keep in mind this should all be kept under the rumor category for now. And the images are still unconfirmed to be the real deal. We'll have to wait and see if Sony has any word on the truth.
