How about changing slim faceplate and screen to 3000 model.
Then you'll just buy a Skype headset and Vóila!! You got a 3000 series!
(I really hope the 3000 screen fits into a Slim)

No RAM upgrade for this one. It's still 64MB. See the specs on my post on this thread, page 7.
