@ joomla: i can even get the fat psp in kmart where i live, since no one go to buy electronic things there, its too expensive! i find the battery for my pandora's at 55 bucks, but yet it was a great discovery since even at gamestop they haven't only for the slim, the one i get at kmart its for phat!

I got It when it X-Mas last yr and mess it up big time so when DC7 came out I fix the id a sold it. I use it for test only that why it is so shiny new.

I really wonder why the would take the slim off the market? hmmm...
Keeping the Slims won't help Sony is selling the new psp3000. I guess they believe the new series is unhackable (I bet it has a more secure mobo) thus if the slims will still be available, people would buy them instead of the new series.
By stopping slim productions, people will only have an option to buy the psp3000 (when all stocks of the slims are sold, that is)
i think they might try yo get us to stop modding but i doubt that since darx alek is thier and the pspgen to i would like to see a psp with cell technology on it

SONY could at least sold the 3000 with the extended battery pack instead of bundling I'm pretty sure ppl already have ratchet and clank, I really like the 3000 the new features are good, either way I'll be getting the Nov. bundle. Thanks for sharing.
Hmm? I thought that Sony selled the newer PSP's with the extended battery anyway, didn't know they still packed the crumy old one. Also didn't they say a few months back that the extended battery was going to cease production? Then are they just selling it for the Holiday's and that's it?
