Why not just wait a while and nab one of those fancy LCD's and retro-fit them into your slim? Swapping the mobo's out might be possible too, if you could accommodate the newer bells and whistles. It makes more sense than buying the newest "un-hackable" firmware and a few logo changes.
The mic does make up for a few things I guess. I'll wait until it's released and decrypted before I buy one.
im thinking of getting 1 after it's launch. irregardless of it's 'yet to be hacked' status. store it till it's finally hackable. might be weeks or months though. all that it needs is to re-route the pre-ipl that has been coded. i m sure DA would come up with something. use my trusty coverless pandorized phat battery (hammered thin without breaking the cells). if after months of waiting w/out any news of hack-job from DA, maybe i'll switch the mobo with my slim. im sure the mobo form factor doesnt change. except the mic's ribbon connector.
im still gonna get one 20-30 min is not tat much and cause i kno dax will find a way to get CFW on it

You know what sucks is the sony people are trying to fool everyone into buying there psp-3000..What they actually trying to do is make everyone buy it so No one will be able to download UMD games from teh computer,..and it will make them more money.
