Yes there is a difference. The line of code to boot into DCv7 is not in the IPL for the UPTv4.3 PC Installer, but it is in the UPTv5 PSP Installer.

But it works fine when i press the LEFT button to lunch DC7.

i'll be using my psp slim 4.01m33-2, regular battery & freshly formatted original 512MB in installing UPTV5

i understand that with this, can i install a 4.01m33-2 to my friends psp slim without buying a pandora battery, right? but do i still need to download dc7 and install it before installing UPTV5?

tried it but the dc7 didn't appear on the options after installing only up to dc5

Hmm... going trough all the stepps til i get to step 12.
when all files are on the root and UPTv5 in /psp/game and i try to run the installer i just get a black screen and the longer i wait til i reset the psp the more files i get into /psp/downloads

anyone's seen this before?

EDIT:
Looks like it goes to black only when the PBP files are added to root, so will try to download the files trough the app..
