CTF Manager v5.00: Now Out!

So I've hit a road block.



and yes i used the PSAR dumper for the 5.00 update EBOOT.PBP to get the files i needed in the support 500 folder.

If anyone would like to help me, I would really appreciate it.

Just want to make ONE theme.

You need to decompress and decrypt:
vshmain.prx
common_gui.prx
paf.prx
Put these in the support folder use
Go here Power Tools Customizing

Get Resurssiklunssi 0.3 for RCOs and PRX decrypter 1.8 for PRXs
Or you can download the decrypted RCOs and PRXs on that page

Edit the RCOs using RCOEdit for RCOs and use the wave tools for system_plugin_fg.rco (the wave) and edit the PRXs using a hex editing tool or you can use specialized tools.

wow that is far too much for my mind to handle.
i started by downloading the decrypted PRX pack for 5.00, and placed the necessary files in the support/500 folder.
then i went ahead and gave my custom CTF another try, and the same error came up.

now im pretty unsure how to do all this; but i started by ripping 2 CTF's (for 5.00m33) and grabbing the files i wanted from each and making a new folder for them.

heres my goal:

Almost everything from "CircacorV3" (5.00m33 CTF - RIPPED)
Icons from "Large Original Icons" (5.00m33 CTF - RIPPED)
Custom Akira gameboot (got the gameboot file. didnt convert or anything, ive never needed to before)
Custom Coldboot sound (so the PRX only, not the RCO. CONVERTED for 5.00 m33)

and i put all of those together into a folder and i start the conversion. Same error every time.
BTW i grabbed the default.ptf file that was ripped from the CircacorV3 extraction. I hope that was right.

so idk how much of yammata684's advice will help me here, because it still seems greek to me.

EDIT: I also gave the program another test by adding all the CircacorV3 files that i ripped with the same program BACK IN TO the program and I still received the same error "Make patch support\500\common_gui.prx to vsh\module\common_gui.prx failed!"

Also, i wonder if this whole CTF thing doesnt work out, that i can just take the ripped files that i want and flash them into the FLASH0. I already made a PSAR backup of the 5.00 eboot and a copy of the 5.00m33 flash0 files/folders.

no idea this thread was that old and the program was that outdated.
anyway is this the correct program?
