Just a day after the release of 5.50GEN-D, the team has already released a new revision, 5.50GEN-D2!
5.50GEN-D was supposed to fix the bugs found in 5.50GEN-C, but I suppose the team wants the firmware to be flawless, hence why this upgrade is to fix some bugs.
Changes in 5.50GEN-D2:
• Evangelion Anti CFW patch Fix
• Fix Wlan TKIP in game loop : PES 2009 , Fifa , Motorstorm , GTA CW, ect.
• Fix Video Output With 5.5X and 6.X Games like GTA: Chinatowns War
• Fixed recovery menu with make Pandora and make battery normal
• Removed splash screen
Installation note: You have to be on 5.50GEN-D to upgrade.
Uhm Team GEN, do you guys have any plans on updating your firmware on psp 3000s? Just asking because we seem to be getting left behind with all the updates. I wanna go on PSN lol. But if not...still happy with what your giving to the PSP community.
Let us also not forget the lack of 1.50 kernel that they have neglected to add for like what 5 updates now I like GEN because they are keeping the homebrew scene alive with custom firmware but c'mon why no 1.50 kernel support?!?!?!?!?!

I think they're prioritizing on fixing their previous releases before adding another feature. i think their next priority is to, like, copy m33 features plus add something original. That way, I'm sure everyone will updtating to gen. Unless DAX makes a come back to the scene, the m33 vs gen arguments will return, and increase.
This would be a good update since gen-d still had that wpa problem in game, i didn't update. So maybe I'll now be going to gen-b2 to gen-d2 now if it is released because of that fix. Can't live without using opera mini in pspkvm.
