Amazing news for PSP 3000 or TA088v3 PSP-2000 owners!
The team announced that they are releasing 5.03GEN-B for HEN soon, so that you can enjoy the benefits of PSP hacking.
Features of 5.03GEN-B for HEN are:
• Compatible with PSP-3000 and PSP-2000 v3 with official firmware 5.03
• Play PS1 games
• Playing backup protected games
• Playing game backups that require firmware 5.55+
• GEN VSH MENU available
• VSH Recovery in revised version available
The release date is slated for Halloween; Sunday October 31, 2009.
Until release date, the team has stated they are going to do some tweaking and testing, aside from the fact the stablility is "good".
IDK why GENyUS is saying that its going to have a VSH Menu + Recovery Menu Option and a Recovery Menu when 5.03 GEN-A had a VSH Menu + Recovery Menu Option and a Full Recovery Menu!
And it was also able to play PS1 Games! I've tested all of these things personally!
The only new things that i actually see is the ability to play Protected games and that is all!
I know this is a great release, but they are stating more than what they are actually doing.
Yeah, they may be "fixing" some bugs in the VSH and Recovery Menu, but they are putting it as if they are going to implement it in THIS version.
Exactly you should be at least great you're getting all of their hard work for free. if you have belly achin' to do then don't bother using custom firmwares.

no one is complaining, i'm just saying they act as if they are just introducing these features into the anticipated 5.03 GEN-B when they are already in GEN-A

Yes this is a HEN CFW, its not a permanent CFW. It is almost like CFWEnabler but better. 5.03 GEN is better than CFWEnabler because it has a recovery menu and a vsh menu.

If it was so easy we would have more cfw's to choose from. Obviously it takes hard work and I appreciate that. My thing is graphics, I do that great , and I will stick to that!!
