is it just an update for 5.03gen-a???? like 5.00 m33-1, m33-2, etc.???
lack of sleep and stuck in kidland........
i just don't want to screw anything up

yes, if you have gen-a installed just run it and it will update itself

So we still need to be in HEN for us to be able to upgrade? or do we just need to be on 5.03 OFW?

Yes... you have to be in HEN, then you can start to update

with this, do i still need to update(select chickhen from pictures and select gen b frm games) everytime my psp shut down?

no... it's another "full" custom firmware just like the m33's and previous gen's the only difference it's that this one its available for 3000 and 2000 with v3 mobo

FYI it is not a FULL CFW! It is temporary so if you take outyour battery or your battery dies you will have to go through ChickHEN again but the nest time you choose the GEN-B updater it will boot into 5.03 GEN-B.
