I hope XanderChaos' comment here wasn't meant in sarcasm because even though it appears similar, it IS an original as far as I can tell .

2. I think the scrolling sound is quite pleasant. It reminds me of an old stand up arcade game, but I can't remember which one. It also reminds me a little of the Super Mario series on Nintendo based platforms. Good job on the scrolling sound .

3. I disagree about the lack of scrolling, however, I think it would be nice if the icon wasn't located in the middle of the screen (perhaps off to one side). My favorite background is the one with the cute little asian girl's face (somehow she reminds me of a little elf girl and I love elf girls, go Liv Tyler!). The problem is that the icon sits across her nose. I really like this theme but I think the icon should be moved to one side to expose more of the background, but that's only one man's opinion.

4. I really don't understand this comment. Please explain further.

5. I agree. The average age of PSP forum visitors/subscribers is 15 <- determined from polls on various sites. That means there are a lot of kids under 15 on these PSP forum sites. As a father myself, I wouldn't want porn or nudity to be available so easily to my child. I can limit the amount of nudity and porn my child sees through parental controls, but not when it's inside something I would consider to be safe and innocent, like a PSP theme for example. At the very least, there should be a disclaimer on the download page and/or in the preview, which, by the way, still says 3.90m33 on it . I love the backgrounds personally, but I'm thankful that I tested this theme out before my child got a hold of it. I say either remove the pic or add a disclaimer.

6. I have both this theme and the "Organ 4.01 ~Dracrius & KmR~" theme and I must say that this one is much better in my opinion. I like Cloak's wave better than Organ's wave (seems smoother to me), I like Cloak's battery indicator better than Organ's battery indicator (I like the percentage better than the bars), and I like Cloak's fonts better than Organ's fonts (the fonts in Organ are way too small for my liking). The only three things I like about Organ over Cloak are a) more Network features/icons, b) multiple icons show in the "GAMES" submenu instead of just one at a time, and c) even though it's basic and simple, the gameboot actually works in Organ. I must give both Cloak and Organ a , but I still like Cloak better than Organ.

My overall review of this theme is "Excellent". It flows smoothly and is very pleasant on the eyes. The color scheme matches and I like the fact that the icons are words instead of symbols. Blessedhands did say this was his first CTF he made on his own and I think he did a wonderful job. I would like to see either a disclaimer about the nudity inside the theme, or to see the adult oriented pic removed all together. Oh, and a gameboot would be nice . All in all, I have to give this theme a 4 out of 5 for artistic originallity and visual flow. Great job Blessedhands .
(Cut out some things to make it smaller)

1) The thing is that it says "Loading". I've never actually seen that before and it makes more sense than the default 'ripple' icon.

2) Its always nice to have new sounds but I'm to sort of person that uses my PSP mainly for music, so whenever I'm not designing a theme I have headphones in my ear and volume up. The sound of the scrolling (and only scrolling. Entering/exiting is fine) is very sharp. It really gets to me. This is a similar issue for me in the defualt sounds, which is why I tweaked the scrolling sound in Apollon ever so slightly to be a bit lower pitched. Without headphones and at a lower volume, the sound is fine and a nice change of pace. This is just one of those things that bothers me and I wouldn't expect most people to be bother most people. But then again, all of this is just an opinion. I'm not trying to say any of this is fact.

3) I didn't like the lack of horizontal scrolling in AppleCor waaay back in 3.51 and I don't like it now. Just my opinion. It seriously bugs me when I know that a nice fade in/out could be done. I agree about the subicon position.

4) The UMD icon has no background. No black fading thing.

5) No need to comment.

6) Organ's wave is better because it moves faster. You are more aware of it. Cloak's battery is better, but I still like Organ more. Once again, just an opinion. I wouldn't want to sway anyone's opinion with mine, just express it.

That means all these themes will have to be hex edited or recoded before they can work with cxmb 3.2 and I don't think XMB Theme creators will want to do that. Instead, I think Miriam's cxmb will rise to the top and dominate the PSP community. Oh, and just for the record, cxmb was originally created by Poison .
oh ok thanks, btw can you upload the picture of itachi in the picture? i'm looking for that one

Ah ha. I misunderstood earlier, but I understand now. I thought you were talking about the "boot up screen." I take back the "sarcasm" comment I made earlier .

I understand your point here as well. I've never used headphones on my PSP so I wouldn't have known, sorry.

I do see your point here, but I've seen several really good themes that didn't scroll horizontally. The lack of scrolling doesn't really bother me, just the position of the Icon.

Okay. I see now. I didn't put a UMD in my PSP before so I didn't catch that. It makes sense now. It was probably just an oversight on blessedhands' part.

Not necessarily. It only moves faster in the first few seconds, then it comes to an almost dead stop, just barely creaping along. What I like about the wave blessedhands used is that it actually reminds me of water, even though the edges may not be as smooth as Organ's are. This is one of those things that just has to be a "personal preference" thing.

the click sounds are basically bleach click sounds or the marvel ones I used them for my dragonball theme back in 3.90. Making a dmc theme cause those click sounds are out for a while and don't wanna let them go to waste. Cloak seems to have a more smooth scroll only way to find out is open up the paf with a hex editor. The scroll speeds should do justice to the click sounds all in all. BH did pretty well with this theme.
