i put all the stuff u said to put in X:CXMB and i edited conf.txt and the other stuff like extracting and i restarted my psp and it aint there it just stays like the old 1

Do have the decompressed PRXs in the supoort folder? Did you go to recovery and enable the CXMB plug-in? Check these and if you are still stuck PM me and I will see what I can do.

I already have the .ctf version but I want to make a new .ctf because I want to modify that theme a bit. But even without making any changes to it, when I create the .ctf with the guide in this thread, the resultant theme is just the default sony theme with my wallpaper on it. It doesn't have any of the custom theme elements.
This is on 4.01m33-2, but I have the right dumped prx files as required, and the theme is for 4.01 anyway.

Any help appreciated, or if someone can just test that they can convert that theme to .ctf without problems then I'll know I'm doing something wrong.

I just made a CTF with F0 files from the source you have provided and was not able to make a CTF from those F0 files. I would prefer you UNCTF the original CTF using the CTF Manager v2 then you can make the CTF with your PSP. I was able to remake the CTF with the original CTF. I do not know why it couldn`t be made with the original F0 files. I hope this answers your question.
