no it doesnt support gif.
I usually just make them PNG since i can make things transparent and such.

Thanks for the tutorial, got all programs needed. It's easy to follow and very useful. As a matter of fact I've already started creating a theme, but I need one thing if it's possible for anyone to find the symbol from the cover of Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess without the title on it, it would really help. Thank you for your time.

I was wondering how do you get rid of the sub menu icons and just keep the words
