That's a good idea, do you have any idea of how we should go about making it more social?
For example, a profile page (not on forum) where you can post what games you are currently playing, join teams, etc?

Good idea Modified and Vlazer, I thought about bringing the vBux system back too. I don't think it's very professional though, I may end up working on something custom just for ConsoleSpot. Here are the idea's we have brainstormed for making the site more social:

- profile page [off-forum] (post what games you are currently playing, join teams, comment in profiles, hold tournaments)

- vBux, vBPlaza

- User Blogs?

Let me know if you would like to add anything/suggest anything else.

I think the profile page feature would be good enough, in addition to all it's capabilities. I agree with you too on how the Vbux can be a bit unprofessional, and I want to be apart of a serious and professional site. Tell me what you come up with for something custom for ConsoleSpot, if you think of any.

It'll probably be a point system of some sort, I'll work into details later but I'm just looking for suggestions at the moment.

Good idea, I've seen many other large sites do this. Unfortunately, someone registered "ConsoleSpot" on twitter. They are promoting our site though: https://twitter.com/consolespot/, does anyone know who owns this? Maybe we could get them to let us have control of the account so we can use it on the new site.
