I figure that now we have so many members doing sigs and general graphics, to initiate the competitiveness. A while back we had the Sig battle... that was only one random thread.
Going by what its called on other forums that host it, I propose(rather announce)...
To those who are uninitiated about this, SOTW is a battle between artists who display their skill by rendering a signature based on the given theme (which is decided and announced before the battle commences.) They submit their entries and members choose the best one by a vote.
This thread is the Announcement Thread. All the Rules and the themes will be posted here. DO NOT POST YOUR SUBMISSIONS OVER HERE!!
Rules
1. Sigs will be submitted 48 hours from the time of the announcement. Any later and they will be disqualified.
2. Sigs must be contain Image tags and image code.
3. The work must be original and done individually.
4. Only one submission per participant.
5. Post submission, no editing or changing will be allowed.
6. Sigs have to theme oriented (unless the theme is Open.)
7. No posting of sigs from other site. (to discourage this, the Themes will be randomised.)
8. Although, no size limit are ascertained, they should be less than 400*200 px. (or such)
9. No flaming others submission or entry.
10. Vote for entry other than yours...
REWARD: The winner will get to display "SOTW Champ", in gold, as the user title, and also Points will be awarded to The Winner and the Runner-Up!
