there should be some major updates for this 4.00 especially concerning with teh fact that there is a remote control from psp to ps3. Since ps3 u[date has already confirmed this im sure psp update will be able to connect to the ps3

My expectations for a OFW 4.00 would be:
1. Playstation Network capabilities. Access to the Store to buy PSX games, download demoes/themes, pretty much all the PS3 can do.
2. New video codecs. Doubt we'll see DivX or any .avi/.mpg/.mpeg/.wmv support soon, though one can hope...
3. If possible, custom soundtracks throughout XMB, instead of just the picture folder. E.g, in the web browser?
4. More PS3 connectivity. Home???(not sure what else, mostly 'cause I don't own one)
5. Option to put the wave in front of a background without need to flash.
6. Custom font option?
7. I don't know if a new Flash Plugin would be going too far or not... I doubt YouTube would run very well on the PSP Browser anyway.
Although I doubt it's real. The jump to 4.00 from 3.72 would be a big one. If I remember correctly, wasn't the latest 2.xx FW 2.81?
