psp fw 4.00 to be released soon

This is so fake, last time i saw that was in october everyone can do that with PBP editor ! and it will not get the name 4.00 but 4.0

This is Offical. 4.0 will be released very soon.

the new features it will contain are:

Divx capability, to play avi's and mpgs on psp.

Skype will also be added with the new firmware, also BT (british telecom) are bringing an app for the psp to do Voip.

there will also be an app to do video calls, this is announced on bbc gadget show.
so watch out for the next release, everytime sony bring out a new firmware they will add a new capability/app.

This Firmware looks like a plan sony have had since we hacked 3.00
I expect this to be:
Strong on security

• Alot of things changed in the Firmware
• Themes to be a nightmare to convert to it
• and a little suprise sony are gona leave in there for the hackers (not a good one)

This is gona be the one firmware im updating to officially, on one of my PSP's anyway im not losing all homebrew

why do people drool/marvel over Divx? if its just avi files you want to play, convert! or is it only the surface i know? i doubt anyone would bother watching movies on a psp though, considering its screen size and memory space. (prove me wrong)

till now, i still don't know what the hell Divx is. is it just the ability to play certain videos? i don't think so, from the way you speak of it, like some god or something

Well Sony says all their firmware is strong on security, 1.5 was strong on security but it's hacked. We'll just have to wait and see...
