Please could anyone help. I am a newb, and im confused. I have a wii and i am very interested in hacking it with homebrew channel etc. I am currently running version 3.1 on my, the Wii brew sd installer is 3.4 if i remember rightly. What would be the best thing to do, upgrade to version 3.4 or is there a way of doing it with version 3.1?

Great guide; it was clear and, for the most part, concise. However, I have a problem. After copying the files onto my SD card and trying to copy it over into my Wii, I get an error message saying that it couldn't copy.
To elaborate more precisely, after I select "yes" to copying into the Wii's system memory, it starts to copy and then stops to say: "The data was not copied."

after searching around are you sure your using the right file for 3.4?? it requires a different save file then the rest of the hacks!
go HERE and search "data was not copied" in the search forums box... it came up with lots of people who had your problem and got it solved!
