I need some help, i downloaded something. and it came out like this:
(sorry don't know ow to use spoiler)
how do i turn this into an iso? I already wasted 2 dvd+r's I only have 8 left I have wiigator installed. will i have to go get a different backup for naruto?
nvrmind that, i fixed it

but i got a problem. i've tried every single booktype and it won't let me change any of them. I'm using a maxell dvd+r color, got it at wal-mart if it matters (no puns please)

gah I have this problem to, This may not be the answer you want, but you need a NEW computer, or at least one built after the year 2000

my computer is so old, it doesn't even recognize that there is a dvd writer!!!

Edit: I tried it on a new computer, can you go more detailed on the booktype switch? I use Phillips and by the looks of the log it's gonna write as a dvd+r instead of a dvd-rom, On the NEC (or at least I think it was the NEC,it was more on the right side and started with a N) It let me switch it into a dvd-rom, but that didn't affect my Phillips, or at least i think it didn't.

Well, did you change the booktype?

I'm pretty sure that you're using backup-loader gamma channel from here:
Run Backups on any Wii Without a Modchip

Make sure to change the booktype.

I do belive that dvd-r (got 10 at wal mart for $7) will work, and that it does not require the changing of booktype (as so many are having problems with that) Ill try it later an tell you if it works

I jsut noticed, if yuo wait long enough, the wiigator channel wii switch to a disc that sayd dvd-r I'm pretty sure that's evidence

After 2 weeks of research, i learned that you can play with or without dvd-r's the link on the files and an explanation is:link
NOTE: You need a newish computer, one before the year 2003 is very unrecommended, and on a windows 2000, don't imagine trying anything, to old to burn right.

hi,

this may be stupid question ... but i have few problems ...
i bought korean like version of Wii from singapore. seems to be it is WiiGator installed. They gave backup DVD ... not original CD.

1. how can i check the version of WiiGator ?
2. can i play original DVD on my console
3. which iso (pal/ntsc) should i buy from net ...?


please help ... here we no one to support bcos in sri lanka.

not sure where your problem is but i used THIS GUIDE for installing it and it was super simple!!

Yeah, I don't understand exactly how that guide would help me. I already have my Wii hacked, it just wont read the WAD file.
