[How to Use] Wiigator's Wii Backup Loader

no ya shadow i can do it that way by going into the Backup Launcher so its fine i can run the game perfect but i was just wondering y it happens and if it can be fixed
P.S i just installed the cios 10 that was released today and still no change so idk what happened lol its no big deal but it would be nice to play out of the disc channel makes it look more legit lol

well...idk it had the latest wan cIOS that includes that "002 Fix" but...i don't have Animal Crossing to check it out

every time i press one to get rid of the disclaimer it says "failed to get to get root, current IOS(36) has the fakesign bug fix

that's because u don't have installed the Firmware 4.0 update in this pack...YOU NEED 4.0 to have preloader (otherwise you need a older version of preloader)

I have followed the instructions and it worked properly until the WAD installation part. I have installed each one, avoiding the 1 WAD file that the guide said.

After installation of the WAD files though, i clicked home. It said resetting wii. It hanged. So I pulled the plug. When i tried to turn it on again, it was all black. Please help me ASAP. thanks.

guess you bricked? bad news for yer, try holding reset while botting up your wii and see if you get to proloader, if you do, then you can fix it, go ahead and click on Homebrew Channel and load "cIOS Downgader 1.2" and install a fresh firmware and if you want, start over

I also get this message after trying to install the preloader 0.29 after installing the firmware 4.0 from this pack and it still says the same what do i need to do???

like shadow said u need to have the 4.0 firmware otherwise preloader wont work so just use the 4.0 firmware installer and ull be able to install preloader

Hi,

Sorry but all steps followed precisely. Downgraded from 4.0E to 3.2E then followed steps to update back again and received same error that IOS version 26 had fakesign bug fixed.

All steps completed properly up until this one, cIOS36 rev 9 installed properly, Firmware Update 4 installed fine, IOS 60 and patch installed ok, no error messages at all until Preloader install.

Ran through process in full again, downgraded 4.0 -> 3.2 then executed Firmware Update and IOS 60 install and patch again, still failed.

Any advice appreciated.
