Is it true you need an LG-816xb drive (where x is 1-4, ex LG-8164b) to backup Wii games? If so I wonder, whatever drive the Wii uses reads Wii games, so I wonder if there is a homebrew that can dump the game in the Wii's drive to the SD card (if you have an SDHC or an old 4GB) or a USB drive attached to the Wii's USB ports...

Okay so it will even split the ISO into 3 psrts to reduce filesize for smaller cards (I have a 4GB non SDHC, from what I understand somehomebrews can access SDHC, I wonder what about USB flash, I just bought an 8 GB Kingston data traveller for only $16).
Do I still have to patch and use WiiBrick break, or is the ISO this makes already pstched (why dont the ppl who upload them upload them patched?)
Also, how would I merge the three parts in Linux?

I want to burn a PS2 game so i can play it in my PS3
I am gonna burn it using TOAST Titanium but does someone know if this should work if the game has copy protection or something?

You can aslo try SuperDump, It's more faster and reliable, You can actually dump a Wii Single Layer Game in less than 15-30 Minutes (About 45-1h for Dual Layered games)
Or You could get a USB and like Format it to WBFS and Dump the games there using USBLoader and then use WBFS Manager to copy em back to your pc, Your choise
