alright dude doing a modchip is a lot more effective and now they have chips that just snap on instead of a sauter (or however u spell it lol) but with the softmod u arent spending any money and u get the same results i used this tutorial written by my buddy Shadow-Assassin [How to Use] Wiigator's Wii Backup Loader
just follow it to the dot and you will have a hacked wii in no time good luck!
of course the mod chip does have more compatability but its just more risky to install and it costs so sodtmods are just a lil bit more convient and still have a lot of the same features

thanks....if i use softmod is there any chance i will ever brick?...are there any decent exploits out that dont require the use of a game in order to enable homebrew etc?
there are currently no exploits to softmod your wii without twilight princess so that is a downside but seriously just go to the video place and rent it for a day do the twilight hack then take it back its as simple as that and with all hacks there is a risk for a brick but as long as u follow the tut exactly u will be alright
