Oh yeah one more thing Shadow, when I try to install CIOS Rev 14 it doesn't give me the option to install it on IOS249, it says IOS254 and some others like IOS36 etc, whats up with that?
Hey once again shadow, sorry for the constant replies lol, I am doing this as we speak thats why, well basically my Homebrew channel is upside down after installing CIOSCORP, how do I fix that? I've tried DOPIOS and sorted out IOS36, but it does not show IOS61, do you know how to fix it?
Hi shadow, thanks for your reply, well I have some good news, I had sent my console off to repair to nintendo, they have sent it back with FW 3.1 on it! (happy times) so I will try out your guide and it should work because, as you said, any FW above 3.0 will work right? but the thing is, they have sent me back my Wii with a different serial number, does that mean they have changed the hardware? its gone from LEH1, to LEH2 (the start of the serial), and is LU64 a new serial and a new version of Wii they have created? I've heard about it, I heard its unhackable, is that true?
Thanks and respect for the help
Much Peace
Yeah it works with 3.0+, but keep in mind the preloader hacks works on 3.2, so try that firmware, and yeah, just look under your wii if it says LU64, if it docent, then ur good to go, but besides LU64 wiis never have firmware below 3.4, so yeah

Hi shadow, yeah I just realised now you had it in the FAQ, well basically, I opted for a fresh reinstallation of homebrew channel, I formatted the wii system memory, everythng worked fine, but when I try and install homebrew channel through the bannerbomb exploit, it says "No Vulnerable IOS found", how can I fix that? would I have to get rid of CIOSCORP? If so, How would I do that?
Actually, no it's fine now, I got it working lol, ok now one more Q, beacause I did a system format via the wii menu, will I still have all the Wads I installed using CiosCorp?
YES finally, its all good and workin! thanks for the great guide Shadow! as I was on 3.1 i used waninkoko's upgrader 2 upgrade 2 4.0 and then used Cios downgrader to downgrade to 3.2! , btw, i've read on some forums and stuff that you should set Preloader to IOS60, is this true? or will IOS30 do for 4.1 and below?

No set Preloader if....
System Menu is 3.0-3.4 = IOS 30
System Menu is 4.0+ = IOS 60
I've run into some problems in following the second video tutorial.
When I try to open the Comex DVDx installer, it returns a message that says "It seems to me you are a pirate. bye." and only allows me to exit from the screen.
So I skipped that step and went on to install cIOS rev 14. I had to download the IOS38-64-v3610.wad to do a WAD installation rather than a Network one, and it said it installed successfully.
But now, when I try to use cIOSCorp, it says
[-] Please install cIOS rev07 before installing.
And then only lets me restart.
I don't see a cIOS rev07 anywhere in the SoftMii pack.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I have Wii firmware v4.00
And thanks for putting all of the files in one convenient archive; really helps speed up the process!
