Default [Release] WiiKey 2


The Wiikey tean has released their 2nd version of their modchip. The changes are basically related to performance and they've also added support for "problem titles" such as Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The Wiikey team has also added a new 8 Mbit onboard flash and the diskspeed is now configurable by DVD. Dual speed is now fully supported as well.

Here's a full list of specs for the Wiikey2:

-Diskspeed configurable via DVD, with separate settings for different media types
-Recovery mode makes it impossible to brick the chip with a bad flash
8Mbit onboard flash for storing data and applications
-Rock solid performance with 3.3V FPGA core and high quality components
-Multifrequency Ringpiece Oscillators (MRO) for optimum performance, even with problem drives
-Onboard status LEDs
