easy answer the drive attached (if u have one attached) isn't in WBFS or u don't have a Externall HD attached atall.

sorry dont know what "WBFS" means but i did have it connected and the hd light comes on showing power but not hd activity and also tried the sd slot and get the same error and a thumb drive also same error and yes with these things inserted lol any other ideas ?

WBFS is the how the WII sees the external HDD you need to format the HDD with WBFS manager you can download the file from here.

WBFS Manager 2.2 - WiiNewz - Wii modchip & hacking community

Scroll down till you see 32-bit version or 64- bit version and download and install.

When the program is installed you will have to format the HDD with windows first so the WBFS manager will see the drive and allocate a letter to the drive.

Now on the WBFS manager you can choose the drive and format to WBFS which will enable the WII to see the drive.

Also the WBFS manager will enable you put games on and off.
