Default cIOS 38 Rev 13 Released

Waninkoko has update his good old Custom IOS the Wii, bringing us Revision 13. This IOS is now based on IOS 38 v3610. For those who want to install this using a wad, you will need IOS38-64-v3610.wad on the root of your SD card. PLEASE DO NOT ASK WHERE TO OBTAIN THIS WAD. NOBODY WILL BE ALLOWED TO HOST IT ON THIS SITE. (If you are stuck try - Google )

cIOS Rev 13 Brings:

Quote:
- Read speed improved.
- EHCI module improved.
- SDHC module improved.
- DIP plugin improved.
- ES plugin updated.
- Implemented new system anti error 002.
IMPORTANT (For those who dont read the read me) Waninkoko states:

Quote:
THIS APPLICATION COMES WITH NO WARRANTY AT ALL, NEITHER EXPRESS NOR IMPLIED. I DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE IN YOUR WII CONSOLE BECAUSE OF A IMPROPER USAGE OF THIS SOFTWARE.

for those of you that don't know just use the network part of it. that way it downloads the ios38 instals it and patches it no need for a wad and it's more safer. make sure you have bootmii beta 2 installed incase ya fubar your wii,

the cios is just like the wii's operating system... this is like custom firmware

the 324 DVD read error probably has something to do with the dvd, not the cios... you probably used the wrong kind of dvd. you should use dvd-r, not dvd+r.... or something could have gone wrong when you burned it

I'm following recommendations and using Verbatim DVD-R 16x. I've burnt at 2x and 4x with no luck.
I've heard the read error could also be caused by incorrect cIOS.

Ok setzer557 I would like to help you on this problem so firstly can you tell me:

- What version firmware you wii is on
- Have you ever installed a cIOS before?

Let me know these details and we will see where we go from there

Thanks for helping me!
I'm using a 4.0U wii with HBC installed using the hackmii installer. From this I also installed DVDx and bootmii (boot2 I think). I've also tried to install cIOS using wads or dols, though I'm not sure how to tell whether I've done it correctly.
Thanks again

ok well firstly try to use patchmii: PatchMii - WiiBrew to remove any cios then try and install cios rev 13 again. Let me know how that goes. Has done the trick for me many times before.
