Default playing cds on xbox 360
hey everybody i am going to buy an xbox 360 elite soon and i was wondering if you can play blu ray dvds or normal dvds and cds on it?????
please tell me. thanks

Bluray? Haha, no.

DVDs and normal CDs? Yes, assuming the type of media is supported by the 360.

Microsoft even stopped manufacturing the players because HD DVD died earlier this year.
Maybe last autumn... not sure

Heck I found some Betamax movies while looking over things at Half Price Books. There's a market for things like that to some. Personally I'm glad the HD-DVD failed in the market, PCs are coming with blu-ray on higher models standard. Heck this is one of many reasons why I want to invest in a PS3 in the future.
The price for a decent blu-ray player is roughly the same price as a typical PS3 anyways and it doubles up.

Yeah, there's a market for everything these days. Some collect them , some just buy and resell to collectors. It tends to be profitable at times.
