I just bought a new xbox elite and i was wondering if these new models can be flashed?

All of them can be flashed. Just pay attention to which Lite-On drive you have if you have one. If you have a 83850c model, do NOT use a Probe or Xtractor to flash it since it will kill the drive if you place one to it but a 74850c has to be flashed with one. All drives can be flashed easily if you have the tools to do it.

any can be flash but beware playing on line copied games you will be banned from xbox live
but thats only with the new games comming out

Flashing is something like flashing firmware on PSP, except you're just flashing the DVD drive with a custom firmware (iXtreme) so it can play your game backups.

And no, you won't get banned unless you're carelessly playing games weeks before retail release and not running them through stealth checks.
