Nice tut, but I don't get it. I get the tut, that's fine, but this shouldn't be aloud since we can't talk about the downloading of games, however we can post guides on burning games, and hiding them from the company publishing them?

You can't store games on the 360 yet. Once the fall update for '08 comes out, you will be able to. But, you'll have to have the game disk in the drive to prove that you own the game.
There is a way to rip and burn 360 games that you own. This isn't a tutorial by any means just informational, but, all you need is an SH-D162C drive, only found at a very popular auction site though, as they are out of production. If your computer will only accept sata connections, there are sata versions of this drive available at the same place. Just search for kreon and you'll find all that are available. You would need to make sure to get either the IDE version or the sata version that your computer will need. It also has to be flashed with a version of Kreon firmware. The latest version is 1.0 and it's required for these drives to be able to read the original game disks.
You'll also need a copy of Xbox Backup Creator. Once you get the drive installed, its as simple as running the program. Inserting the original game disk, click unlock drive, then make sure complete backup is selected and hit start. It will prompt you where you want to save the iso and when its done, you'll have two files. An ISO and a DVD file. Just point imgburn at the DVD file, make sure you have a fresh Verbatim DL disk in your burner and let it burn. As a precautionary measure, you should use Xbox Backup Creator to dump the SS.bin file and run it through a program called KreonChecker, and then run the ISO through xdvdmulleters stealth check just to make sure that it passes and if it does, it should be totally stealth and theoretically safe for use on live.
You'll need to have a flashed 360 drive to play backups, as they won't run on unmodded systems. Latest version of windows .net wouldn't hurt either.
All these programs can be found on xbins. Well, except for windows .net that is.
I have a modded xbox 360 & use to buy burned games from a guy but he got shut down by the feds.
I was wondering if anyone could give me a step by step on burning 360 games, I know they need to be on a dual layer verbatim dvd but what programs do I use & how do I burn them?
also does anyone know of the best places to download games? I'm not a fan of bit torrent but will do it if I have to.
