Does anyone know if this lame avatar thing will completely replace gamer pictures? I'd rather it didn't but it seems like it will, some people paid for their gamer pics and now they might be useless? And they might want to make us buy digital cloths for some very poorly designed mongoloid standing pointlessly on our dashboards?
i think that whole avatar thing is cool, but i really dont see the point. its just a useless image that probably stands there and waves at you everyonce and a while....
also, i would NEVER pay for accesories for it... seems pretty pointless to me.

But, to tell you the truth... Sony is in the lead with everything in my opinon.
Mostly everyone looks at microsoft and see no competion and see their company is going down the drain fast.
So pulling this crazy idea is just making me look like retard for standing up for my favorite console and this opens more doors for little sony fan boys on to talk about.
It's not doing anything to my wallet because I wouldn't buyaccessories for a Wii like avatar when I have a Wii in the other room.
It's not making look anyone like a retard. The whole fanboy-ism over consoles is what's retarded and that's one of the many factors about why gamers in general are given such a bad reputation.

If the avatar thing seems as much as stupid and ridiculous to you, as it does to me, then you will do like me and not use it. It's not like the retarded-looking figurine will affect a game or how you play it, or how much you like/stand for a console.
Not like it matters to me, The new Xbox dashboard will have a classic switch for those who want to go back to the Blades. The whole avatar thing really to me seems boring and belittles what a console is really for, Home, Mii's, MicroAvatars. I bought my console for games, which really for all consoles should be their main focus, not these poor attempt at the sims lookalikes. This kind of thing is best for computers not consoles.
I'm not going to have an avatar on my xbox account, seeing how it seems pointless.
Same goes for when Home comes out for my PS3, not going to want it.
