Interesting...It looks like the director that is going to make the halo movie might be interested in bungie & microsoft cooperation to make this movie come true.
Btw:I am not a die hard fan but nice trailor. Gave it the realistic feeling. Hopefully halo 4 might give it that look. But i am pretty sure you can only do that with a blu-ray game but whatever.Or you can do it with a regular game. Hmf.
It didnt become "District 9" it was canned due to lack of interest at the sudio and budgets. District 9 is a different film totally, nothing to do with Halo.
As for that "trailer" its not a trailer persay, its just a little clip, essentially ODST is Halo3 without the ability to use enemy weapons, no duel weild etc...

The Halo movie has never been "Canned". It's been put on hiatus. It's been and on/off project for years. There will be a Halo movie no doubt. You can't deny that no matter what.
Might get ODST. Still unsure though. I'm more excited for MW2, but ODST will pass the time until MW2 is released. And all my friends are getting it, I might as well. :\
